When I’m healthy, I get hurt. That’s just how it is, and it probably goes all the way back to my childhood. Having a young one at home who is as accident prone as I was (am) helps me to remember those childhood injuries all too clearly. I’ve long used the phrase, “When I hurt, […]
I know I’ve thought this . . . maybe I’ve even said it. “My body let me down.” Beyond my personal usage, it’s a very frequent statement I hear as a coach and as a physical therapist. It’s often how people refer to a performance that wasn’t up to speed or an injury that was […]

Hi Gray,
Everyone contributing to the betterment of society at large deserves their due praise and respect. What you have done for fitness professionals everywhere and the fitness community as a whole is nothing short of spectacular. With that said, I just want to thank you for helping me move better and aleviate 3+ years of chronic hip pain by following your instructions on how to deadlift. I increased the weight of the kettlebell I was using and placed it on a small box since my hamstrings were too tight to reach the bell without compensation. Within a week my chronic pain has disappeared, glutes are firing better, and my transverse movement has greatly improved as well.
I owe all my sincere grattitude to a man who continues to provide a wealth of knowledge to the public that is second to no one. In a world of weight loss gimmicks and money influenced fitness agendas you stand as a beacon of truth that hopefully others will follow in the footsteps of in the future. Im sure I speak for many others when I say thank you for changing my life for the better.
Sincerely,
Kevin Walsh
