Qualifies as Type I Continuing Education for PT/PTAs in Virginia. Those who participate will be eigible for 3 contact hours to be used towards CEUs.

Objectives:

  • Expose health care and exercise professionals to an overview of movement screening and assessment
  • Introduction to the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), which were both created to foster a standard operating procedure regarding movement competency in exercise and rehabilitation.
  • Both systems will be outlined and research implocations will be discussed.
